Had a lot of fun shooting with dancer, model, all-star, Char Baquiran! You've probably caught glimpses of her dancing alongside Beyonce, Channing Tatum, and Kevin Hart on "Lip Sync Battle". Or maybe you've seen her strutting her stuff on the TV series "Hit the Floor". She sometimes appears in Ariana Grande's music videos and stars in many of those viral dance videos on YouTube. You can also follow Char on her adventures through her Vlog channel!

This is the second time we've shot together. We were lucky to have hair and makeup guru, Gina Atkinson, by our side, and dancer, actor, char's boyfriend, Mike Fal, assisting. We had a two hour time frame to get a few looks together, and ended up shooting about 500 images. I looked crazy running around frantically in this giant studio, but it was overall so much fun with this gang.

New and Improved

New site, new work! It has been a long time coming but I finally finished designing our new website layout! Welcome to new and improved Hey Yeh! :) On the top navigation bar, you will find new buttons like "shop", a fully curated list of items we have or want. You can also click on the different categories to see posts only about fashion, photography, decor or crafts. Thank you so much to my amazing brotha from anotha motha, Tim, who helped me code many of my very specific annoying nit-picky designs.

In the meantime, check out this awesome sweater I got from Nasty Gal. It's half sweater half shirt. Perfect combination of funky yet somewhat professional. I need more of these tops.

Got to collaborate with Renee and Rauf to bring you this series. What I love about these photos is that they make you think... How are they doing that? You stare at one part of the image for a long time thinking... whose foot is that? It was pretty cool seeing it all unfold and how easy it came to them to try these different poses, but also how hard it was to balance and support each other. A Trip to the Desert

We took a road trip to Joshua Tree this weekend. Though it's only the beginning of February it was close to 80F during the day and as you can see from my super blue photos there was not a cloud in the sky. We went with our friends Christie and Derek and stayed at an awesome geo-dome, which you've probably seen on Instagram. We spent the morning driving through the park, then headed down to check out Salvation Mountain and watched the sunset by the Salton Sea. Will be posting some photos inside the Dome soon! :)
