not a priority?

I read a really cool post today here and it has really got me thinking about all my priorities in life.
What I haven't been doing and what I should take some time out to do.

Change your language.
Instead of saying “I don’t have time” try saying “it’s not a priority,” and see how that feels. Often, that’s a perfectly adequate explanation. I have time to iron my sheets, I just don’t want to. But other things are harder. Try it: “I’m not going to edit your résumé, sweetie, because it’s not a priority.” “I don’t go to the doctor because my health is not a priority.” If these phrases don’t sit well, that’s the point. Changing our language reminds us that time is a choice. If we don’t like how we’re spending an hour, we can choose differently.

Recap of LA

And last but not least, meeting the talent in LA...
Click on their names to check out their choreography.

Of course, getting stuck in Newark had its perks. I got to see Jeffrey a day early!
He shaved his head on St. Baldrick's Day last Friday to support cancer research and raised over $3000.

stuck in newark

Man was it hard not having internet at all this whole week!
Although it was quite nice to be away from the computer, since I'm so dependent on it all the time.

Our flight today was delayed by two hours, and so we missed our connection to fly home.
Christie and I are now hanging out in Ramada Plaza, luggage-less, and on standby for the next flight out of Newark.

Other than that, I had a really amazing time in LA!
The best part of the trip would be seeing my friends and going to dance classes.
The dance teachers are all very inspiring and really helped me see a different side of choreography and dance. And so I've decided that I really want to go back to LA to take dance classes before I settle in NYC.

I'll be posting more photos of LA when I get home. Who knows when that will be...

LA Bound

Spring Break is finally here!
I can't wait to stand underneath the warm sun, wear bright colors, and eat yummy food!

I found this mini pantone palette on Griottes. I thought it was very creative!
It really sums up how I'm feeling about this week!
