Macau

Over Christmas, my family and I took a one day trip to Macau. We spent the day exploring old town, and rode the Ferris Wheel at the Studio City hotel. We finished the night with the Dancing Water Show (similar to Cirque Du Soleil).

Coming from Vegas, Macau felt cleaner, more spacious and had less crazy people roaming the streets. I think most people that go to Macau are strictly there for gambling or luxury shopping so the streets and the hotels were pretty empty. If you're planning a trip there, I definitely recommend visiting old town of Taipa, and don't forget to try their famous egg tarts and pork buns!

Poolside Chillin

Took a quick trip to Palm Springs for Easter and stayed at the Avalon Hotel. It was so relaxing getting away from the concrete jungle, hang by the pool, and think about nothing but food and sun. We also got massages, where the masseuse kneaded all my knots out. I think I'm still sore from that! It was 87 degrees but still slightly chilly in the shade. I rocked this jumpsuit all day, super easy to slip on and off. If you ever get to visit Avalon, definitely try Chi Chi at the Avalon, their poolside restaurant. For lunch, we had the pork belly hash and fish tacos. For breakfast we had the brioche french toast and veggie frittata. All amazing!

A Trip to the Desert

We took a road trip to Joshua Tree this weekend. Though it's only the beginning of February it was close to 80F during the day and as you can see from my super blue photos there was not a cloud in the sky. We went with our friends Christie and Derek and stayed at an awesome geo-dome, which you've probably seen on Instagram. We spent the morning driving through the park, then headed down to check out Salvation Mountain and watched the sunset by the Salton Sea. Will be posting some photos inside the Dome soon! :)
