Leather Goes with Everything.
Leather goes with everything. I can't think of an outfit that a leather jacket doesn't go well with... This is the first week the weather has dropped below 20C, and I'm super stoked about the cold. It's always so exciting to dust off the sweater drawer and move those jackets to the front of your closet. Unfortunately, I didn't plan well for my winter stay in HK and left most of my jackets in LA. Fortunately, I was able to snag some swag from Pomelo to rock this winter. I'm going to have to get a new suitcase for when I move back after the New Year.

I've been looking for bluetooth earphones for quite some time now, and found this amazing brand that is sleek, good quality, and convenient. If you commute on public transportation everyday, like I am right now in Hong Kong, it changes your life! I'm always carrying 2 phones (work and personal) and jumping on calls morning and night, playing music or my morning podcasts. It's so nice to not have a wire dangling and getting tangled in your scarf, earrings, or accidentally getting hooked onto someone's arm during rush hour in the subway and yanked out of your ear.
Thanks for finding me at the perfect time Sudio! :) Get yourself a pair on sudiosweden.com and use HEYYEH to get 15% off. They have so many other designs as well.. More colors below!
Cold Shoulder
It has finally cooled down a bit in HK, and I finally came out of hibernation. I was hiding from all my friends, trying to avoid stepping outside into the disgusting heat as much as possible. We got hit with our fourth typhoon 8 this summer, and these were taken right before the storm came. I'm so glad to finally be wearing long pants and not sweating profusely through them 10 minutes into my walk. These boyfriend jeans get me ready to take on every weekend! I've only got a few more weeks to go in HK and I'll be back in LA within a few weeks. Where did the time go?
Tone on Tone at Home
I wear a lot of black. I wear enough black to induce a jaw drop on days I’m wearing colour (from memory, she actually dropped everything and ran across the office yelling in excitement). I wear black because I’m actually awful at pairing colours— that’s why monochrome is my jam. I love the textures that come to play when you’re working with a monochrome palette but I’ve always felt like it’s hard to pull off the tone-on-tone vibes at home without it feeling contrived. Is it just me or does the tone-on-tone trend feel exclusive to highly-curated product photography? You tell me.
