Plaid

Hi guys, how was your Halloween? I posted a photo on my instagram of what Feng and I dressed up as. I was a black and white photo of skele-fied Breakfast at Tiffany's, and Feng was a lion (long story short, it was a theme between the Quest guys). Check it out here!

It's been cooling down here in LA, so I don't feel so silly posting these photos anymore :).
Here's the second fall/winter look that I put together for Urban Outfitters. I am loving this green plaid jacket! It has an A-line cut, which makes the outfit more feminine. I paired the jacket with a longer top so the color can peep below. I also didn't realize I was wearing Christmas colors - how perfect for the holiday season!
When we were taking these photos, it was probably the day the weather changed. We were on top of the hill suffering from 20mph wind. I tried really hard not to show that I was cold, or that my hair was flying all over the place!

Fall Sweater

It's not cold enough here in LA to wear a knit turtleneck sweater and socks with booties, but I just got too excited about the cold weather and all these amazing clothes! We teamed up with Urban Outfitters to bring some fun Fall/Winter looks. Here's one of my favorites - knit sweaters with a big turtle neck (it's on sale right now, check below!). I can't stress how soft and cozy this top is and I love this shade of grey. It also really brings out the camel color of the boots. After taking these photos at home, I really wanted to go to work in this outfit, but it was seriously 85 degrees outside... mmm nope! Feng and I are traveling north in a few weeks, hopefully it'll be cold enough to rock some of these outfits!

*to my OCD friends, the boots are clean (straight from the box), and no coffee was spilled on the bed during this shoot :)

The Holiday Dress

If you know me, you know I'm all about the comfort.. and I can't describe how comfy this sweater dress is. You can dress it down with some flats and dress it up with some jewelry and booties! And most importantly, it's not tight around the waist so you can eat as much as you want! :) Super excited to wear this to the Christmas party.

How to dress for fall...

I would like to welcome FALL, my favorite season.  The Mid-Autumn Festival in Hong Kong is what marks the beginning of autumn for me.  Aside from enjoying the full moon while eating moon cakes and other moon cake-shaped desserts, I look forward to the weather finally cooling down.  The best part about weather change is fashion change, and fall clothing is definitely my favorite. It's comfortable, cozy and stylish! I no longer have to freeze when I go indoors and over heat when I walk outside.  Hong Kong'ers can all finally wear one outfit and stick with that look throughout the day :) I think every HK female knows what's I'm talking about.  Let's see what's trending on pinterest this autumn season.

Loose-fitted comfy tops
Hint of plaid
Floral tops and floral pants
Fitted ankle-length pants
Pointy pumps and ankle boots (even for kids!)
(Rose) gold bangles and watches
Denim button downs

What's in My Pocket

It's October and Fall is trying to come, but Summer just doesn't want to leave! It was 93F (34C) this weekend so I got to bust out some good ole' overalls and enjoy the sun a little longer.

I love overalls! I simply love the hooks on the front, and how easy it is to match and change the mood of your outfit. You can go skater chick, then take off the cap, change up the shoes and dress up like hipsters [taylor swift song]. I like the kangaroo pocket on the front, but I hardly see anyone use it! Thought I'd give it a try ...... Super random I know but there is an explanation !
We went to a dinner party the night before and were all trying to balance a spoon on our nose. It was quite difficult! I blame it on my tiny Asian button nose for giving me a hard time. :\
what else could i put in my kangaroo pocket?
