The Holiday Dress

If you know me, you know I'm all about the comfort.. and I can't describe how comfy this sweater dress is. You can dress it down with some flats and dress it up with some jewelry and booties! And most importantly, it's not tight around the waist so you can eat as much as you want! :) Super excited to wear this to the Christmas party.

The Commissary

I grabbed breakfast at the Commissary at The Line Hotel opened by Roy Choi. I love the green house idea, and how peaceful it made the restaurant feel. Definitely a great brunch spot with a group of friends! My tummy only had room for one dish unfortunately, and I chose the eggs benedict - which is now one of my favorites I've had so far! They used hash brown in replace of the english muffin, and sprinkled green onions on top. The dish tasted like a mix of Asian and Western fusion, which is very unlikely for such an American breakfast item.

I am definitely going back to try other dishes that many reviewers have been raving about. I personally like this over Pot - which was a little bit too spicy and salty for me..

DIY: Marble Background

what you need:

a wood board - Plywood Sheet-12"X12"X1/8"

marble contact paper - DC Fix 346-0306 Adhesive Film, Grey Marble

scissors - Sullivans Tailor Scissors, 8-Inch, Gold

Remove one side of the protector and stick the marble paper onto the wooden board.

Be sure to flatten the sheet and align the edges with the wooden board. Pull the bottom sheet slowly, while running your hand against the marble paper to smoothen and stick the paper onto the board.

Once the marble paper is covering the whole wood board, turn it around and cut the edges to fold down.

Wrap the marble paper over. I put tape on the back to make sure the corners would stay down.

Voila! You can even use this contact paper to cover pencils, table, and even walls!

Took a quick weekend trip to Sacramento. The city is small, but very beautiful and full of little quirks. We had a very eventful three days sight seeing, attending a dance battle, and shot the behind the scenes of an open field photo shoot that I can't say much about until the photos are out. We spent most of our free time in Old Sac, where it really felt like we were in an old western movie scene with cowboys and tumble weed. I didn't prep myself well for the cold weather, and came down with something the last day. After multiple airborne drinks, claritin-D and nyquil I'm feeling much better now!
